Stroke Support Groups:
1. Cincinnati Stroke Support Group- meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care; 7-8:30 pm; 151 W. Galbraith, Cincinnati Contact: Karen Craven @ [email protected] This group consists of a wide age-range and length of time post-stroke. Caregivers are encouraged to attend.
2. Gateway Rehabilitation Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury Support Group- meets the first Tuesday of each month from 3-4 pm in the cafeteria at Gateway Rehab; 5940 Merchants Street, Florence, KY 41042 Contact: 859-426-2400
3. Stroke rehabilitation research opportunities: University of Cincinnati has a Neurorecovery Laboratory with ongoing research studies.
